On Monday 4th March 2024, some Year 3 girls took part in a Year 3/4 Tournament at Cleeve School/Football Club.

SVPS A and B teams played mini matches against schools from the Cleeve area. They were very excited and a little apprehensive as for most this was their first time playing football for their school or anyone! Well done to Callie-Rose and Effy for volunteering to be in goal for their teams, as this position can be a little daunting; they were brilliant, and even when the ball went in the net they kept on smiling. All the girls supported each other really well on the pitch giving encouragement and praise. They tried really hard and improved with each game. The main thing is they enjoyed it and had the experience of some competitive sports.

Well done to: Effy, Seren, Clara, Poppy, Eleanor, Dami, Sienna, Daisy, Nicola, Callie-Rose, Ella, Imogen, Bethany, Jasmine, Isabelle and Meadow.
