Athletics Club

On Friday 23^rd June, 49 pupils from Swindon Village (KS2) took part in an athletics competition at the Prince of Wales stadium, against 11 other school in the Cheltenham area.

We had pupils take part in all the track and field events, for some pupils this was their first time at this event and they conducted themselves brilliantly. The determination on their faces when running and trying to win for the school was outstanding. Every single one of them gave it their all and that's all we could ask for.

Many of our pupils made it through to the finals, with some winning medals. We are so very proud of them all, we hope they enjoyed taking part and representing their school at this amazing venue. It was great to see so many staff and parents there helping or supporting. Mrs Brown and SVPS staff.
