On Friday 3rd of March, our B team netballers attended a netball tournament at Leckhampton High School. Our 5 very excited pupils had a great time, and considering they were mainly Years 4 and 5 in a Year 5/6 tournament they did very well. Their attitude and determination could not have been better.
They took on board all the advice and training they were given during the day and improved with each match. Their happy, smiley faces when they came off the court after a match said it all. They didn't win a match but kept on smiling and never complained, and just couldn't wait to play the next match. They were also very supportive towards each other and should be very proud of how they conducted themselves.
They finished 9th overall out of 11 teams. They all received a sports value band which was well deserved. Well done to: Lydia, Bella, Rosie, Isabella, and Hollie for enjoying playing netball, trying so hard and never giving up.
Thank you to Mr Ellis who gave lifts and stayed to support, very much appreciated.
