Parents have the
right to withdraw from all/part of the R.E. curriculum on offer. Parents should
contact the school and arrange a meeting to discuss which parts of the R.E.
curriculum they do not wish their child to take part in’. During the meeting the
parents will highlight which units/lessons they do not want their child to take
part in. Parents do not need to give a reason. This annotated document will
need to be signed & dated by the parents. A copy will be retained by the
school and a copy will be given to the parents. This process will need to be
completed at the start of each academic year or when the R.E. curriculum
content changes.
