On Thursday 6th February our girls’ netball team played all their league matches in the format of a tournament, here at SVPS.

There were 5 schools in total. SVPS lost their first match by just one goal, although it was very close. We went on to win all the rest and the last match was 16 - 0.

It was a great afternoon of netball in the sunshine. They all played very well, showing great skill, teamwork, determination and passion. We finished top of the group on goal difference, so won their league.

Well done to: Rosie, Sophie, Arabella, Mia, Zofia, Laura, and Lydia. Thanks also to Mrs Ellis and Poppy from Year 6 who helped me throughout the afternoon, and the parents who came to support. Mrs Brown 🙂
